Our client, an independent E&P, is in need of a Reservoir Engineer to work in their Midland offices. *Summary The Reservoir Engineer will assist the team in optimizing existing property base by providing reserve estimates, cost estimates, and production forecasts. He/She will build and maintain reserve database using ARIES software for producing properties and will prepare and analyze economic evaluations, reserves evaluations, and production forecasts. *Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Petroleum Engineering Minimum 8 years oil and gas reservoir engineering experience Experience in economic evaluations using ARIES Skilled in reserve estimation; material balance calculations, pressure transient analysis, formation evaluation, decline curve analysis and production forecasting Experience in Forecasting/Monitoring/Evaluating CO2 Miscible Floods, Experience with Numerical Simulation a plus Thorough knowledge of reservoir engineering and understanding of open hole and production log analysis and interpretation techniques Experience in well test analysis in oil and gas reservoirs Experience with Fekete F.A.S.T. RTA, Geographix, and Power Tools helpful Familiarity with computer software techniques used for log analysis
