\t\t\t\t\tSummary: The position is responsible for locating, marking and documenting various underground facilities, such as pipelines, electrical and automation cables, and any other underground facilities owned or operated by the Company. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: \u2022 Reports all unsafe and environmental issues to supervisor. \u2022 Takes care of company vehicle and equipment. \u2022 Seeks out new ways of doing things. \u2022 Protect underground utilities from damage during projects involving excavations. \u2022 Helps out in other areas of the business as needed. \u2022 Maintains company vehicle appropriately.\u00a0 \u2022 Use a locator to locate and mark all utilities required by the company, willing to witness all 3rd party crossings, document, update ticket status and file all required paperwork. \u2022 Responsible for using and taking care of locating equipment and hand tools. \u2022 Must be a self-starter and be able to perform work with little supervision. \u2022 Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet required deadlines. \u2022 Other duties as assigned.

\t\t\t\t\tEducation and/or Experience: \u2022 High School degree or equivalent. \u2022 General knowledge of compressor stations, gathering system, and processing plant operations. \u2022 Working knowledge of mechanical equipment. \u2022 Knowledge and experience in safe handling practices of flammable gases, liquids, and high-pressure systems. \u2022 Follows company policies, practices, and regulatory requirements. \u2022 Needs to have Proficient computer skills Qualifications: \u2022 Good verbal and written communication skills. \u2022 Customer orientation. \u2022 Ability to effectively present information in a one\u2013on-one and small group situation to other employees of the company and outside contractors. \u2022 Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals). Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: \u2022 Valid state operating license with acceptable driving record. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. \u2022 Uses physical force to lift, push, pull and hold equipment/tools. \u2022 Climbs and works at various heights. May work in a standing, sitting, lying down, crouched or kneeling position. \u2022 Routinely reacts to visual, aural and other signals, including alarms and instructions, and is required to visually inspect work. \u2022 Regularly bends, stoops, moves from ground level to higher levels, raises/lifts from ground level a load up to 50 lbs., manually transports a load up to 75 lbs., and applies up to 150 foot pounds of torque. \u2022 Regularly gets into and out of vehicles and rides over rough roads. \u2022 Walks an average of 5 miles per day, up to 7 miles per day. \u2022 Candidates may be subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol testing requirements, \u2022 Subject to overtime and call-outs. Working Conditions: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
