Essential Duties & Responsibilities: u2022 Assists with capital projects and day-to-day business relating to the gathering system. u2022 Assists on compressor maintenance and related equipment. u2022 Performs minor repairs, with the assistance of others. u2022 Pigs pipelines on a regular basis to maintain an efficient operation. u2022 Assists with measurement duties by pulling samples and performing other related tasks when called upon. u2022 Completes appropriate documentation and paperwork. u2022 Performs daily checks of compressor stations and fills out various reports. u2022 Takes callouts on equipment and compressors, responding in a timely manner. u2022 Reports all unsafe and environmental issues to supervisor. u2022 Takes care of company vehicle and equipment. u2022 Oversees contract work. u2022 Seeks out new ways of doing things. u2022 Reports all excessive downtime to appropriate people. u2022 Helps out in other areas of the business as needed. u2022 Maintains company vehicle appropriately. u2022 Other duties as assigned. Position Requirements Education and/or Experience: u2022 High School degree or equivalent. u2022 General knowledge of compressor stations, gathering system, and processing plant operations. u2022 Working knowledge of mechanical equipment. u2022 Knowledge and experience in safe handling practices of flammable gases, liquids, and high-pressure systems. u2022 Follows company policies, practices, and regulatory requirement Qualifications: u2022 Good verbal and written communication skills. u2022 Customer orientation. u2022 Ability to effectively present information in a oneu2013on-one and small group situation to other employees of the company and outside contractors. u2022 Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals). u2022 Apply common sense understanding to carry out day-to-day operation issues. u2022 Be able to make quick and reasonable decisions in sometimes-adverse conditions. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: u2022 Valid state operating license with driving record insurable under company insurance standards.
