Anadarko Petroleum Corporation
This position is located at the Platteville office located in Platteville, CO as a member of Anadarko’s Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Team. The candidate will be responsible for the management/coordination of environmental activities associated with E&P operations in the DJ Basin.
•Four (4) years of environmental experience or position applicable experience required.
•Strong understanding and experience with reclamation and stormwater compliance requirements for Colorado.
•Experience with E&P spill response (preferred).
•Understanding of environmental issues as they apply to E&P and Well Construction Operations.
•Knowledge of Colorado and Federal regulatory permitting and compliance reporting requirements.
•Strong communication skills. Must communicate effectively with operations/technical staff, management, various internal groups, and regulatory agency personnel.
•Strong technical writing skills.
•Strong organizational and analytical skills.
•Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
•Interim and final reclamation lead of E&P sites.
•Stormwater program E&P lead.
•Environmental permitting and compliance.
•Assist Operations, Drilling and Completions teams with implementation, execution, and oversight of environmental programs and procedures.
•Conduct field reviews of locations to ensure compliance with appropriate programs and plans.
•Perform environmental data collection, recordkeeping and reporting.
•Represent Anadarko at Local, State and Federal agency interactions.
•Waste management support.
Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering or other related field preferred. High School Diploma or GED required. 4 Plus years of experience required with a Bachelor’s degree. 10 or more Years Relevant Experience without Bachelor’s Degree.
License / Certifications
Valid driver's license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle is required.
Position is may be eligible for domestic relocation.
Local travel will be required for this position.
This position is on the 5/40 work schedule.
