Equipment Manager - Pipeline Construction Service Company

Our Client, a growing oilfield services company, is seeking a dynamic individual to serve as a Equipment Manager in its pipeline construction division.

General Responsibilities

Supervises and coordinates all company equipment and tools

Responsible for managing and supervising 2 mechanics

Manages all repairs and maintenance of equipment in accordance with procedures and expectations

Works with company management on making equipment and truck purchases and sales

Ensures all service, maintenance and inspection records are kept up to date

Supervises the repair and maintenance of equipment in accordance with procedures and expectations

Ensures equipment and work spaces are maintained to a high level of cleanliness at all times

Maintains a dispatch log for all equipment and tools

Monitors the return and condition of all equipment and tools

Ensures good working relationships are maintained between the yards and sites.

Maintains effective reporting lines to management

Ensures that checklists for all equipment have been completed

Maintains standards of safety that comply with Company’s Health, Safety & Environment requirements


5 years experience in a position dealing with equipment and truck management

Knowledge and experience working in the Oil & Gas industry in a similar role preferred

Experience tracking, reporting and maintaining equipment asset informtion

Knowledge and experience buying and selling heavy duty trucks and equipment required

Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written and oral instructions

Must have working knowledge of common MS office programs

Must have strong analytical, communication, organizational and time management skills

Must have High School Diploma or GED

Must possess a valid/clear Driver’s License

Compensation / Schedule Overview:

  Salary based on experience.
