Koch Specialty Plant Services, LLC has a great opportunity for a highly motived, self-starter to work as a Technical Sales Representative based out of ourHouston,TX office. If you have a strong technical aptitude, natural sales instincts and the ability to work in a fast paced environment, this could be the role that takes your career to the next level! The ideal candidate will lead Business Development specific to KSPS Services and KG Mass Transfer Replacement equipment. You shall have primary strategic responsibility for business development related to the South East Region of the U.S.. To thrive in this role, a good technical understanding of the Chemical and Petrochemical market with the business products (trays, packings and tower Internals) and services is needed to be able to provide support to external customers. The Technical Sales Representative will work closely with the companys other sales/field personnel, estimating, engineering and manufacturing to achieve the primary objectives. In addition to using MBM and The Guiding Principles, the successful candidate will also be provided the necessary tools and resources needed to create measurable and sustainable value for the Company while ensuring that sales and business development efforts support the Companys overall strategy and goals. Pricing Strategies and Process Development are also components of this role that will be essential along with strong project management and effective presentation skills. WorkExperience, Education& Skills Required: * AssociateorTechnical Degree * One or more of the following: Bachelors Degree and 5 years of Project Management experience or 5 years in Technical Sales * Experiencebuilding and developing working relationships with customers (internal and external) * Good organizational skills * Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills * Critical thinking skills with an emphasis on value creation * Ability to travel up to 50 % including overnight Work Experience, Education & Skills preferred: * Bachelors Degree or higher in Business or Engineering * 5 years experience in the chemical/petrochemical industry * Established relationships in chemical or petrochemical industry * Experience and/or background in Project Management * Experience and/or Background in Mass Transfer Equipment * Knowledge of construction and/or maintenance in refinery/chemical plants * Knowledge of plant turnaround planning/execution * Experience in pressure vessel/welding Physical Demands/Unusual Work Conditions: * Able to bend, squat and lift up to 50 lbs * TWIC card will be required after hire This role is not eligible for VISA sponsorship Koch Specialty Plant Services, Inc.
