  Job Description:
The Options Trader manages trading for profit across the Northeast region and supports/backs up the marking of the volatility curves across the Northeast markets in the U.S. As part of the responsibilities the role will involve backing up the management of a Revenue Put, managing or helping to manage Power Tolls in the region, and spending time in both the development of analytics and infrastructure
Duties include:
  Generate revenue by actively trading Power and Gas options in the U.S. Northeast.
Back up and Manage exposures for a Revenue Put to maintain or generate new earnings.
Aid power tolls looking to manage extrinsic values with volatility.
Provide Option pricing in illiquid markets for customer business.
Make markets to affiliated swap dealer and other desks within Shell Energy as well as OTC to provide liquidity and engage in price discovery.
Support other trading desks by providing market intelligence and views with respect to volatility.
Back up and maintain volatility curves for U.S. Northeast Power markets.
Develop new option products to offer to customers to maintain and increase competitive advantages in the market
Work with Structuring and Deal Valuation to ensure volatility priced appropriately in large structured transactions
Job Requirements:
Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
Bacheloru0027s degree; MBA preferred
Minimum three (3 ) years trading experience including options trading
Candidates with a power trading background are preferred, but in creating a balanced team of high performers, consideration will be given to applicants who have a high level of specialism in a specific field (eg., trade finance, M&A, financial options structuring, business development, banking).
