Baker Hughes, a GE company has an opening for an ALS Monitoring and Optimization Engineer (Artificial Lift) to be based in Midland, TX.
Provides skilled level support for the product line(s), key field product application, well prognosis, and/or completion product performance.
Assists with prototype tool applications and new product market introductions.
Investigates unusual or unsatisfactory Equipment performance to determine root cause and preventative action.
Required to work on alternating shifts.
May be lead engineering/technical position in region or area. (Field Service Personnel not included).
Conducts all business activities in accordance with BHGE HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and BHGE Core Values.
Bachelors degree, equivalent university degree or combination of education and experience.
3 years of engineering experience in oil and gas industry.
Extensive analytical skills and abilities.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Ability to work and communicate effectively with customers.
Strong Computer skills Microsoft Office Products.
Ability to work long hours in the field as needed.
Previous experience in presenting detailed and technical information.
Strong leadership skills.
