American Midstream Partners, LP is a growth-oriented limited partnership formed to provide critical midstream infrastructure that links producers of natural gas, crude oil, NGLs, condensate and specialty chemicals to end-use markets. American Midstream’s assets are strategically located in some of the most prolific onshore and offshore basins in the Permian, Eagle Ford, East Texas, Bakken and Gulf Coast. American Midstream owns or has an ownership interest in approximately 4,000 miles of interstate and intrastate pipelines, as well as ownership in gas processing plants, fractionation facilities, an offshore semisubmersible floating production system with nameplate processing capacity of 100 MBbl/d of crude oil and 240 MMcf/d of natural gas; and terminal sites with approximately 6.7 MMBbls of storage capacity.
This position will provide subject matter expertise regarding midstream regulatory compliance issues involving the Texas Railroad Commission (“TRC”), the Texas General Land Office and other state regulatory agencies that have jurisdiction over the siting of and rates, terms and conditions for services provided by American Midstream’s state-regulated assets and affiliates.
Prepare and file with the TRC all routine and non-routine reports, tariffs and other requisite filings
Prepare and file all routine and non-routine reports, tariffs and other requisite filings with other state energy regulatory agencies having jurisdiction over American Midstream’s assets and affiliates, including, but not limited to, the Alabama Liquefied Petroleum Gas Board, Alabama Oil & Gas Board, Alabama Public Service Commission, Louisiana Office of Conservation (Pipeline Division and Production Audit), Mississippi Oil and Gas Board, and the North Dakota Industrial Commission
Act as primary liaison with the TRC and other state energy regulatory agencies regarding all issues other than those related to pipeline safety
Track all capital and operations and maintenance projects to ensure required USFWS, SHPO, THPO, and CZM environmental clearances are obtained in advance of earth disturbance
Conduct regulatory due diligence for acquisitions and dispositions as needed
Perform regulatory research as needed
Other duties as assigned
The conditions the worker will be subject to in this position include both corporate office environment and occasional field environments when supporting audits and conducting pre-inspections

Physical requirements of this position are:

Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met

The conditions the worker will be subject to in this position include:
The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as in typical office or administrative work.)
Approximately 10% anticipated travel
Education and Qualifications
A Bachelors degree is required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the midstream sector providing federal and/or state energy regulatory compliance support, particularly regarding the TRC
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Microsoft Word and Excel is required
Must be results-oriented, possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and have strong analytical and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize assignments, deal with interruptions, and meet deadlines in a fast paced and growth oriented environment required
