Overview / Responsibilities
Develop new client contracts.
Establish and expand relationships with decision makers within each assigned site and customer, focusing on a 100-mile radius from Deer Park operations.
Develop and maintain exceptional consultative relationships with existing customers.
Develop an overall Deer Park business development plan which will maximize opportunities and generate sales activity with customers and partners, utilizing the entire range of services on offer by WOOD’s D&C business including Professional Services, Small Capital projects (
Play a key role in providing the basis for robust pursue/non pursue decisions and prospect prioritization, lead the development of well-founded win plans, manage the process of developing high quality proposals and play a key role in getting successful bids to deal closure
Grow and maintain existing customer and partner relationships through proactive sales activity.
Manage proposal creation, contract negotiation, and day-to-day customer and partner requests.
Understand the status of any projects in execution relevant to the location, account or sector and intervening as necessary to ensure successful delivery or to highlight/escalate the issues
Skills / Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from four year college or university.
10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry, preferably Downstream & Chemicals and operating plant environment, plant construction or equipment sales to operating plant environment
Knowledge of Downstream & Chemicals Profesional services, plant-based and small-capital engineering, construction and O&M services.
Ability to: analyze data, identify trends and develop recommendations for improvement; research and solve complex, multi-faceted problems; work independently and show initiative; maintain a positive attitude; handle large volumes of work and meet tight deadlines; adapt to and embrace change in a rapidly changing environment; lead and mentor by example; maintain and promote good client relations, maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Skilled in: relationship building; verbal and written communication; problem solving; researching customer and product information; planning, scheduling, and organizing work; multitasking; and time management.
