Primary document control representative assigned to project(s) executed by Integrated Projects. Provides support to the project execution team with strict adherence to the approved processes and procedures implemented by the business for document control functionality. May be assigned to multiple projects depending on scope of project.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Capture project document deliverables in accordance with approved processes and procedures for consumption by the project execution team.
Distribute information in accordance with approved processes and procedures.
Report status of documentation in relation to project schedule and milestone priorities to Project Management and relevant project personnel.
Perform regular quality audits of project document control functions to ensure consistent and effective service to the project.
Provide accurate and timely status reporting metrics of all pertinent document control functions to Document Control Management on a regular and continuous basis.
Coordinate with project representatives (Engineering, Project Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Project Controls, etc) to ensure proper and effective application of document control processes, and procedures.
Attend all pertinent project meetings and functions related to document management.
Ensure alignment with the Integrated Projects Global Document Control performance objectives.
Contribute to and/or participate in continuous process improvement initiatives.
Required Skills or Tools:
Proficient with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Visio, MS PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
Proficient in Electronic Data Management System (EDMS) administration such as SharePoint, Vault, Documentum, OpenText, etc.
Experience and understanding of Supplier and Engineering documentation.
Able to assess and implement best practices for document management functionality
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Service driven and customer focused
Knowledge of engineering technical terminology in the oil and gas industry.
Excellent organizational, communication and coordination skills. Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads and frequent changes in priorities.

Some college experience preferred
Four plus years of experience in document control / information management
Experience with EDMS and Collaboration software applications such as such as SharePoint, Vault, Buzzsaw etc. required.
Technical document control experience in the oil and gas industry.
