American Midstream Partners, LP is a growth-oriented limited partnership formed to provide critical midstream infrastructure that links producers of natural gas, crude oil, NGLs, condensate and specialty chemicals to end-use markets. American Midstream’s assets are strategically located in some of the most prolific onshore and offshore basins in the Permian, Eagle Ford, East Texas, Bakken and Gulf Coast. American Midstream owns or has an ownership interest in approximately 4,000 miles of interstate and intrastate pipelines, as well as ownership in gas processing plants, fractionation facilities, an offshore semisubmersible floating production system with nameplate processing capacity of 100 MBbl/d of crude oil and 240 MMcf/d of natural gas; and terminal sites with approximately 6.7 MMBbls of storage capacity.
This position is responsible for duties associated with Crude oil disbursements to operators and owners. The successful candidate will have the ability to understand the crude oil business and provide meaningful operational and financial reports and analysis.
Process crude oil payments to operators and owners as established by Division orders, and Buy/Sell agreements
Monthly Invoicing of customers
Answers and resolves internal and external customer inquiries, including audit inquiries
Prepares multiple routine management reports and provides special reports as requested
Identify and drive process improvements related to crude oil inventory controls
Provide payment detail to Accounts Payable for all operators
Complete monthly, quarterly and annual crude journal entries
Work closely with Commercial, Measurement, Contracts, AP, Financial Reporting and various other teams to complete monthly and Quarterly Gross Margin Variance analysis
Complete Account Reconciliations
Work with Internal and External audit, by providing data, and ensuring the correct understanding of our business
Proactive self-starter, with the ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Complete special projects as requested

Education and Qualifications
Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; Masters of Accountancy or MBP preferred
Minimum of three years Crude Experience required; Five years or more experience preferred; Minimum 6 or more years related business experience
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
Advanced understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), and ability to apply those principles to new and existing transactions required
Excellent professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills required
Ability to work well in teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes
Advanced analytical skills required
Requires a willingness to work a flexible schedule
Ability to prioritize assignments, deal with interruptions, and meet deadlines in a fast paced and growth oriented environment
